LICHFIELD residents are being encouraged to take the plunge by signing up to this year's charity Swimathon.One of the UK's biggest annual fund-raising events, the 2015 swimming challenge will see thousands of people diving in at hundreds of pools across the country, including the city's Friary Grange Leisure Centre.It takes place on the weekend of April 18 and 19 in aid of the Marie Curie cancer charity.Registration for the event has now opened and can be entered on an individual or team...
